Brain Eye

Rapid eye movement - Rapid eye movement (REM) is the stage of sleep characterized by rapid saccadic movements of the eyes. During this stage, the activity of the brain's neurons is quite similar to that during waking hours.

Disparity (brain) - Disparity refers to the difference in images from the left and right eye that the brain uses as a binocular cue to determine depth or distance of an object.

Pulfrich effect - The Pulfrich effect is a consequence of the fact that at low light levels the brain's response to visual information from the eye is slower; by selectively limiting the light level to one eye, the relative delay in image perception can create an illusion of depth.

Optic chiasm - The optic chiasm (from the Greek χλαζειν 'to mark with an X', after the letter 'Χ' chi) is the part of the brain where the optic nerves partially cross, those parts of the right eye which see things on the right side being connected to the left side of the brain, and vice versa.
